Recently we had the pleasure to welcome the DIN and hoc Working Group “Mobile machines working underground – Safety requirements for
traction batteries”. Exchanging experience and technical know-how on risks and benefits, opportunities and threats of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) on underground construction sites (tunneling & mining) — is essential to provide solid decision base for industry and policy makers. In particular responsible people for Health & Safety and emergency groups appreciate these dialogues and the outcome. The resulting document is close to publication.
